Picking a Team and Its Two Ballers

The team screen lists dozens of clubs, and most of them start locked. Each team brings two players, and every player has ratings for shooting, height, hops, speed, handles and defense. A great shooter plays very differently from a tall shot blocker, so it pays to compare the bars before you press Ready. Extra tabs let you change gear and outfits for your squad.

Moving, Shooting and Passing

Use the arrow keys to move around the court. Press the spacebar to jump and press it again to shoot. Tap the spacebar twice quickly to pass to your teammate. The controls are easy to learn, but timing your release at the top of the jump is what turns misses into buckets.

Play Now drops you straight into a quick game. Franchise Mode lets you guide one team over a longer run, and Shooting Practice is a calm place to work on your jumper. To face real people, choose Online vs Friends: one player hosts a game and the other joins it. You can also sign in with Google to keep your progress in the cloud.
