Digdig.io

Digdig.io is a free multiplayer io game from Matheus Valadares, the creator of Agar.io and Diep.io, released in 2021. You control a round little digger that tunnels through the earth. The more you dig, the bigger you grow, and the bigger you are, the more dangerous you become to everyone else.

Dig to Grow

The game's own tutorial sums it up in two lines: dig to grow, and avoid bigger players. Every tunnel you carve makes your digger larger. Smaller players are prey, larger ones are a threat, so keep track of who is around you as you grow.

Five Ways to Play

The menu offers five modes. FFA is every digger for themselves, TDM splits players into teams, TAG turns the game into a chase, BR is a battle royale and MAZE drops you into a maze to dig through. A Squad option lets you play with friends. Trying each mode is the best way to find your favorite, since each one changes how careful or how bold you need to be.

Name, Shop and Coins

Type a name for your digger before you press Play. Coins you collect can be spent in the Shop, and you can sign in with Discord or Apple to keep your progress.

Survival Tips

Early on, dig steadily and stay away from larger players. Once you have grown, use your size to trap smaller diggers, but remember that someone bigger may be just around the corner. In TDM and Squad, sticking with teammates keeps you safer.
