Hammer City is an action shooter where you play as a living hammer clearing the streets of bad guys. In each mission you hunt a set number of targets, use weapons and special gadgets from an inventory, and can take control of vehicles or turrets for extra firepower.
Playing the streets as a hammer
You are cast in the role of a hammer with guns and gadgets. The game mixes shooting with short mission objectives: every level lists how many enemies or objects you must kill or destroy. That target count appears on the left side of the interface and is echoed on the minimap, so tracking progress is straightforward.
Weapons, gadgets and inventory management
Hammer City gives you a variety of weapons plus grenades and special gadgets that affect your skills. Items in your inventory increase damage or change how you handle combat. Switching to the right weapon for the situation and saving high-damage items for tougher encounters is part of the flow.
Vehicles and turrets for extra firepower
One clear way the game widens combat options is by letting you enter vehicles or turrets. These give you a temporary boost in offensive capability and can help clear dense enemy clusters or deal with bigger mission targets faster.
Practical strategy for missions
Watch the left-side mission counter and the minimap so you do not wander from objectives. Use vehicles and turrets when facing groups or when an objective is defended; they raise your damage output without relying solely on inventory items. Save grenades and special gadgets for objectives that require area damage or when you are outnumbered. Prioritize targets that block progress or are clustered together, since the mission counter only advances when required kills or destructions are completed.
