Horse Derby Racing

Horse Derby Racing is a fast-paced multiplayer horse race where you place a single bet and watch cards move the field. You start by lining up all the horses at the gate, deal cards two through queen, and each card moves one horse forward a step toward the finish line. Every player bets on a single horse, and the player with the highest amount wins.

Placing your bet

Each player may place a bet on a single horse. The rule is simple: the player with the highest amount wins the race. Because movement is driven by dealt cards, the contest is mostly about luck rather than steering or skill.

Lining up horses and moving them toward the finish

At the start you line the horses up at a starting gate. Cards from Two through Queen are dealt, and each dealt card moves one horse forward a single step. Rounds continue until a horse reaches the finish line.

What multiplayer looks like with six players

The game supports up to 6 players, which makes for quick, social races. With several people backing different horses, a late card can suddenly change the leader. Because each player picks only one horse, the field stays easy to follow even with a full table.

A few tips for race day

Since every card moves a horse only one step, a horse that falls behind early can still catch up, so no race is over until a horse crosses the line. Treat it as a game of luck: pick a horse you like, cheer it on, and enjoy the swings when the leader changes.
